  • Motor extended warranty not as transferable as terms state



    I bought a car last week where the previous owner had purchased an extended warranty, the terms and conditions state that the extended warranty can be transferred to the new owner for a £25 fee. This would have given me a warranty for just under two years. On calling the warranty group they asked if it was purchased privately or through a car showroom, I said showroom and they said it could not be transferred as it was not a private sale.
